I agree with this post. We have been implementing pension reform (two-tier, employee payment of PERS, etc.) at the bargaining table for several years now. I would sure like to see retiree medical dealt with such as enrollment in retiree medical expense trusts such as the PORAC and UPEC plans as part of pension reform. We are making slow progress on this at the local level, but what is the point of having a pension if you can’t afford retiree medical? Keep up the great work, Goyette negotiators!
